Nick Alex

Nick Alex is a New York City–based stand-up comedian originally from Long Island, where he grew up as an only child obsessed with everyday absurdities and the kind of sharp observational comedy popularized by legendary Long Island entertainers before him. His material blends personal, slightly neurotic perspectives with outlandish observations and storytelling, delivered in a style that's been described as "unnecessarily frustrated" — a comedic voice shaped by an overbearing mother, a short-fused father, and an upbringing on an island known for its aggression. Nick started hitting open mics in New York City in 2014 and quickly established himself on the city's competitive stand-up scene, becoming a finalist in the 2018 Devil's Cup and the 2019 Long Island Laugh-Off. He has since been featured in comedy festivals and competitions for both his stand-up and sketch work, and is a regular performer at top NYC comedy clubs including The Stand, New York Comedy Club, Eastville Comedy Club, West Side Comedy Club, and Grisly Pear. Beyond the stage, Nick has built a massive online following through stand-up clips and comedy content, collectively garnering millions of views across platforms. His Instagram has grown to over 375,000 followers, while his TikTok has amassed more than 200,000 followers and over 8 million likes. He is also the host of the popular podcast That's A Shame with Nick Alex, which ran for over 110 episodes and is available on all major audio platforms and YouTube. In 2024, he launched the Mugged Off Podcast alongside fellow comedian Kevin Herrera. Nick is now touring nationally, bringing his high-energy, unapologetically honest stand-up to stages across the country.
