Support Staff (Door Person / Barback)

The Comedy Connection is hiring additional Support Staff to help deliver an excellent guest experience. This role supports front-of-house operations before, during, and between shows.

Responsibilities

While Doors Are Open

• Manage the entrance before, during, and after performances
• Check IDs to ensure compliance with show age restrictions and Rhode Island liquor laws
• Greet guests and seat them according to our seating process
• Assist other team members as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

During the Show / Between Shows

• Support the bartender by stocking the bar and cleaning glassware
• Help reset the room for the next audience (clearing/bussing tables, straightening chairs and tables, etc.)
• Monitor the room to help prevent disruptions (talking/yelling, photos/video recording, etc.)
• Restock and assist with other tasks as needed

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Availability to work nights and weekends (required)
